    Notes: Solo Scott is back in the mid-1980s with more harbingers of darker things to come. Around this time his cult following picked up momentum.

    Notes: And we have now arrived in the trifecta of divisive later career albums on which Scott's idiosyncratic approach blossomed.
17. "Cossacks Are" - Scott Walker - The Drift [4AD: 2006]
    Notes: Second album in the later-career dark trifecta. These are like the album equivalent of Goya's black paintings, or something. "Clara" is a track off this album that concerns Mussolini's mistress who followed him to her death, and it is for that song that Scott presided over the infamous studio session that involved punching a side of pork as a form of percussion.
18. "Phrasing" - Scott Walker - Bish Bosch [4AD: 2012]
    Notes: Third album in the later trifecta and possibly the most over-the-top.
