– Leo Nocentelli – Another Side – Light in the Attic – cheating a bit as this came out November 21 but I didn’t get my copy until 22. so good
– Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul – Topical Dancer – DEEWEE – smart, tongue-in-cheek, socially powerful songs that have the groove
– Sonic Youth – In/Out – Three Lobed – gratuitous jammed out 80s and 90s SY? yes please and thank you
– The 2022 National League Champion Philadelphia Phillies
– Wilco’s performance of YHT in its entirety 4/19/22 @ United Palace Theater
– King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard – WTJU’s Witch’s Brew introduced me to this band in 2014 and I’ve enjoyed watching their popularity grow. Five (!) releases this year with a tour in North America (finally), a theater screening of concert footage, a video “documentary” with new track ‘Change’, and more dates announced for 2023. Relentless.
