Save the date: Black Business Expo joins with Juneteenth celebration on Sat, June 15

By Nathan Moore

The 8th annual Charlottesville-Albemarle Black Business Expo is back for 2024 with a new location and new date. We’re partnering with Charlottesville’s Juneteenth celebration at the Jefferson School African-American Heritage Center on Saturday, June 15, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The event is free and open to everyone.

This year’s Black Business Expo includes an exhibition of booths operated by Black-owned businesses, three panel discussions by leading professionals, a business pitch competition, live music entertainment, and more.

The Juneteenth Emancipation concert starts at 11:30 a.m., featuring the Ellis Williams Band (jazz / r&b / gospel), Ezra Hamilton (soul / r&b), and many more.

Come out to experience the grooves and learn more about these black-owned businesses that are part of the bedrock of our local economy.

Learn more at BlackBusinessExpo.org.

Attendance at the Black Business Expo is not limited to African-Americans. Everyone is warmly invited to attend this free public event.

Presented by Lifeview Marketing and WTJU 91.1 FM.
