Lambeth Live invites a different musical group from around North America into your home each Friday night for an hour long concert live from just outside the WTJU studios at Lambeth Commons at the University of Virginia in front of a LIVE studio audience. There is Classical, Blues, Folk, Jazz, Rock, World and more. So gather round (or better yet be part of the studio audience!) each Friday night for Lambeth Live, right here on WTJU, truly the sound choice in Central Virginia!
As part of the 2015 WTJU Fall Pledge Drive, Lambeth Live’s October 2 program will look back at the first year of programs. There will be music from 11 of the 50 or so acts who put on Lambeth Live concerts before the series was moved to the Lambeth Lounge. If time allows, there will be pieces from the Buzzard Hollow Boys, Olivarez Trio, Michael Clem Trio, Zephyrus, Beleza, ACME Swing Mfg Co, David Wax Museum, Ian Gilliam & The FireKings, Sally Rose Band, Kane West Organ Trio, and Erin & The Wildfire.
