Charles Winkler will visit WTJU this Sunday to discuss the Washington Balalaika Society Orchestra's September 30 concert at the PVCC V Earl Dickinson Building.  If we are in luck, Charles may even bring along his prima domra to play a few Russian Folk tunes.

The Washington Balalaika Society is a community-based organization dedicated to studying, preserving and performing the rich musical heritage of Russia and Eastern Europe on authentic and traditional folk instruments. Their music replicates the folk orchestra sounds typically found in major cities and towns of Russia. Discover this unique musical genre, and experience traditional Slavic culture with musicians of all levels from beginner to professional, from teens to 80s in age.
