WTJU Proudly Presents Park School Concert Benefit at the Haven, May 4

WTJU is delighted to present a benefit concert at the Haven in downtown Charlottesville, on Saturday, May 4, for the Park School.  A variety of bands have graciously donated their performances to help this small school thrive on.  The bands include:

All proceeds will support The Park School and The Sam Taylor Scholarship Fund.  Sam Taylor was The Park School's very first graduate who tragically died in an auto accident.

Park School is a school where students in grades 5-12, who had hovered on the margins in their former schools, discover their passions, learn to love learning, set future goals and achieve them. The school leaders believe that all children can grow into creative and compassionate citizens, and they will do what is necessary to ensure that their students achieve this goal. Their student population will grow to no more than twenty individuals, as their children need to learn in an environment where they can receive the attention and guidance that they deserve.
