Deborah Murray, host of Classical Sunrise, interviewed Michael Slon, UVA faculty conductor, about the performance of Mozart’s Requiem to mark the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack, which was held on 11 September, at 3:30 pm at the First Presbyterian Church in downtown Charlottesville.  The performance featured the Oratorio Society, the University Singers, and members of numerous local church choirs.  Mr. Slon is the conductor of the University Singers and the Chamber Singers, and most recently was selected as the Interim Music Director of the Oratorio Society.
