Partisan gridlock got you down? Ready to celebrate the end of this election season? Then come to WTJU's ELECTION SPECIAL! WTJU is throwing an election night party at The Southern on Tuesday, November 6th, featuring bands in the music hall and live election returns in the bar.
We kick off with a happy hour 7-9pm. The Rick Olivarez Trio plays their gypsy jazz starting at 8:30. The Positive Collective brings their reggae groove around 10:00pm. And Left and Right lay down some indie rock around 11:30.
The door charge is $10, or just $5 with an "I Voted" sticker. The door benefits WTJU.
The Southern Café & Music Hall is located at 103 S. 1st Street on the Downtown Mall.
