Improved Ogg Vorbis Audio Stream

Ogg Vorbis Audio Stream Overhauled

WTJU's ogg vorbis audio stream has undergone significant improvements in quality and reliability. Until recently, the analog audio signal from our air studio mixing board was routed to the stream encoding computer in a somewhat roundabout manner. As a result, the vorbis stream occasionally suffered the effects of flaky connections, antenna placement, noise pickup and instability. Thanks to some help from our contract engineer, we now have a direct digital feed from the mixing board plugged straight into the streaming computer, then out to the world. Simple, clean, seamless; this is as hot and fresh as it gets. We hope you enjoy our newly revamped vorbis stream.
