Audrey Auld & Anne McCue

Audrey Auld and Anne McCue both hail from Down Under. But it wasn't until they'd each moved to Tennessee that they met and found themselves living streets apart in East Nashville. "We got to know each other with the aid of campfires, beer and guitars," says Audrey. "Anne is one of my favorite things about Nashville."

Anne's solo career travels an Australian blues and biker rock path; her latest release Broken Promise Land bears witness to her outstanding talents as producer, writer, singer and musician.

Audrey's path started in Tasmania and winds through mountain folk, honky tonk and roots music - what they call Americana these days. She calls it "Music with the dirt left on". Audrey's latest CD is Billabong Song, a collection of Aussie folk songs.

Together, Audrey and Anne's music is sweet and dry, funny and fervant and Australian.
