Eric Vloeimans & Florian Weber Perform at Brooks Hall on December 15

On Saturday December 15th at 8 pm, enjoy an intimate evening of jazz and chamber music with the duo of trumpeter Eric Vloeimans (Floy-muns) and pianist Florian Weber, performing in UVA's Brooks Hall. The concert is presented by The Charlottesville Jazz Society and WTJU-FM.

Dutch trumpet virtuoso Eric Vloeimans returns to Charlottesville after his acclaimed trio performance here in 2010. German pianist Florian Weber will be playing Brooks Hall's beautiful Steinway. The two artists will perform a program of melodic jazz chamber music with classical influences that should be a perfect fit for the winter holiday season. Their most recent recording is 2011's "Live at The Concertgebouw."

The concert in Brooks Hall begins at 8 p.m. Saturday December 15th. Tickets are available at the door only. For more information visit cvillejazz.org and click on Events In Town, or call Gary at (434) 249-6191. Brooks Hall is located on University Avenue next to the Rotunda.
