Join The Jazz Messenger host Brian Keena as he welcomes back special guest Marietta McCarty to WTJU on Monday, December 2, from 10am to 12pm.

Ms. McCarty is the author of bestseller Little Big Minds: Sharing Philosophy with Kids and Nautilus Award winner How Philosophy Can Save Your Life: 10 Ideas That Matter Most.

Earlier this year she released her latest book, The Philosopher’s Table: How to Start Your Philosophy Dinner Club—Monthly Conversation, Music, and Recipes, (Tarcher/Penguin) and will be discussing ideas from the book with Brian. This book brings together author Marietta's love of breaking bread over good conversation, backed by music and the laughter of individuals becoming community.

Specifically, we will be focusing on the jazz and blues music (as well as philosophy and food!) of France, Brazil, Japan, Kentucky and Chicago.

This will be a memorable program, so be sure to tune in Monday, December 2 from 10am to noon!
