The Charlottesville Jazz Society and WTJU-FM present an evening of soul-jazz with guitarist Lew Woodall and his quartet, featuring Hod O'Brien on piano. Woodall is little known, but has several fine cd's out on the European Philology label. This is a rare opportunity to hear Hod play grand piano on the beautiful Steinway in Brooks Hall. Also in the band are Shenandoah Valley musicians Tom Harbeck on bass and drummer Joel Lubliner.
